About us

Buades is a historical brand within the Spanish sanitary tapware sector. Founded in 1900 in Palma de Mallorca by Mr. Gabriel Buades, this great visionary grew the company from a small workshop to a major firm in the sanitary fittings industry and a leading example in Spain of quality and design.
The company was acquired at the end of the 1980s by the US multinational Standayne and subsequently transferred to the household appliance manufacturing firm Teka which, following a brand rationalisation process, ceased using the brand.
